Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom) signs multiple agreements with several developers specializing in green hydrogen projects.Hydrom, a subsidiary of Energy Development Oman said that the agreements with Green Hydrogen and Chemicals (ACME-owned), Green Energy Oman, SalalaH2, and Hyport Duqm Consortium covered six projects in the vicinity of Duqm and Salalah ports. The deal with BP Alternative Energy Investments was only for a Duqm project and one in Dhofar. These projects will produce over 700,000 tonnes of green hydrogen, which will be further processed in local industries to make energy carriers for export.
