Danish Everfuel and Norwegian Greenstat Energy are planning to build the Hydrogen Hub Agder in Kristiansand, Norway, in collaboration with industrial companies Elkem and Glencore Nikkelverk. A Scandinavian joint venture has received NOK 148m ($14.8m) from Enova, to establish a hydrogen hub in Norway.
The construction consisting of two phases, will see an initial 20MW electrolyser capacity to produce eights tonnes of hydrogen per day. In its second phase, set to be commissioned in 2027, capacity is planned to be boosted to 60MW.
